It’s never too early to say something vaguely racist!
Oh sure, it’s not even Christmas 2011, but it’s never to early to discuss who will join such notables as Whitelaw Reid, Charles W. Fairbanks and Sarah Palin as Republicans who were failed to be elected Vice President of the United States.
Joseph Curl, a columnist for the Washington Times whose entire career seems to be writing about how anger Michelle Obama is, endorsed Condoleeza Rice for Vice President. Curl introduced his endorsement by saying “Republican diners haven’t yet picked their entree, but they’ve narrowed it down to the steak or the fish. Still, just as interesting as their main course will be their side selection: Will they go for a drab salad, or something more exciting? Maybe a spicy Rice dish?””
A spicy Rice dish? I mean I’d like to congratulate Curl for not saying something about collard greens, but why would she be a spicy dish? Has anyone ever accused Condi, who everyone agrees always looks like she is about to cry, of being spicy? Condi isn’t spicy—anemic Dickensian orphans are spicier than her.
