Vive l’hypocrisie!

Well if we’ve learned anything in the past 24 hours it’s that people love seeing internet photos of a dead Muammar Qaddafi. Seriously Justin Bieber could film a sex tape with the entire Kardashian family and we’d still see fewer images of all that disgusting flesh.

However, I’d like to point out another imporant feature of this story: Barack Obama has, by all accounts, had a remarkably successful foreign policy track record. He’s managed Afghanistan as well as anyone probably can, killed loads of terrorists including fucking Bin Laden and now Qaddafi is dead. Naturally even his adversaries in the Republican party have to give him some credit, right? Right???

Wrong. In fact, the GOP so loathe Obama that they are crediting THE FRENCH with the victorious death of Qaddafi. Marco “El Sexo” Rubio claimed that “let’s give credit where credit’s due, it’s the French and the British that led on this fight.” Well sure the French and the British were very involved, but hot damn! A Republican praising the French? Only a few years ago this would have led to a tearful resignation and probably a stint in a pray-away-the-gay rehab.

I’m just shocked Rubio didn’t make the logical connection here between Qaddafi’s death and the French welfare state: namely that SOCIALISM KILLS.
