Langston Hughes+Santorum≠Erotic Fan Fiction

with one comment

With campaign season starting up again, all the candidates getting in line to lose to Barack Obama because they’re insane are getting their slogans and logos in order. We’ve already heard about Mitt Romney’s campaign’s minty-fresh plagarism, but what about Rick Santorum? Who can he rip off in his quest to solve our defict problems by arresting women who use birth control?

It turns out the great Jazz era poet Langston Hughes is Santorum’s new unwitting muse. Santorum, whose campaign recently debuted it’s new slogan “Let’s Make America America Again”, missed that fact that Hughes, a gay black pro-union activist, already wrote a poem entitled “Let America Be America Again”. Whoops!

What a stupid mistake! Why didn’t a Santorum staffer take five seconds to google their new slogan? Ohhhh right, because the website Google still considers the phrase “Santorum” to refer to “frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex“, a definition which sex columnist Dan Savage helped create when then Sen. Santorum compared gay marriage to beastiality. So yeah, I guess this is what happens when you swear off Google and a liberal conspiracy against you.

I just know that I can’t wait until Tim Pawlenty appropriates Sappho for his slogan and then claims to want nothing to do with either lesbians or the heavily indebted Greeks. That’ll be BEAUTIFUL….

  1. Someone bless Dan Savage for ruining Santorum forever.
