Jan Brewer: Nazi Huntress

leave a comment »

How dare you call Arizona governor Jan Brewer a Nazi? We all know that the only person you’re allowed to do that to is Barack Obama.

Brewer told the Arizona Republic that the backlash over Arizona’s controversial “Papers Please” immigration law has been hard on her personally, especially all the nasty comments this innocent defender of White Culture has had to endure. Brewer said in particular “The Nazi comments…are awful…Knowing that my father died fighting the Nazi regime in Germany…and then to have them call me Hitler’s daughter. It hurts.”

Except (whoops) according to another Arizona newspaper, Brewer’s father died of lung cancer in 1955 (Oh those cheap third reich cigarettes! How many lives must you claim until your thirst for made-up blood is quenched?). It turns out that Brewer’s father was a supervisor at a munitions dump in Nevada during World War II: but ya know 1950’s Reno and the beaches of Normandy are only like a scant 6,000 miles and 11 years apart. This mistake could happen to anyone, right Richard Blumenthal?

It’s always inappropriate to call a politican a Nazi, unless they really are/were one, which Brewer clearly isn’t because she’s not that charismatic or honest about her feelings about brown people. But how can we truly understand the deaths of her feigned willful ignorance? Perhaps the right thing to do is to find out whether a group of cold race-baiting reptilian harpies killed Brewer’s mother: no one would ever accuse this ray of sunshine of being a member of that group, would they?
