Sarah Pal(in) the Science Gal

with one comment

If nothing else, Sarah Palin is a woman of science. Having attended 6 universities in her four years of college and attaining a degree in the notoriously academic field of Communications, this is a woman who understands the importance of a hard-nosed approach to the scientific method. I must say as a fellow scientist, I was intrigued by Gov. Palin’s totally-not-stupid suggestion in this clip that there is a connection between nuclear arms reduction and school yard face punching.

Interesting no? Is the announcement that the Obama administration will only use nuclear weapons against states that either have nukes or do not comply with the Non-Proliferation Treaty really akin to a child asking a bully to perform pugilistic acts against his visage? I believe that we as scientists have a duty to test this hypothesis out.

Thus, let me say here and now, for the sake understanding the fundamental mysteries of the universe, I will help this study by volunteering to punch Sarah Palin right in her ignorant MILF face. And let me encourage all of you who believe in the noble beauty of the scientific method to test this out by also volunteering to punch that Alaskan mouth breather right in the “lipstick”.
